Get the most out of work with social performance management...

Canada, Rypple, and Social Networks

It’s been three weeks since I set foot on Canadian soil, tired after an eight hour flight from London but very excited to join the Rypple team!

So what cool new feedback solutions will I be looking to tackle in my new home? As a theoretical physicist by education, I am especially keen to explore a number of aspects of Rypple from a “scientific” perspective.

I’ll be investigating areas like helping users quickly understand the deeper meaning behind their feedback by applying semantic analysis and text mining techniques. I’ll also be drawing on my post-graduate work in Computer Science where I explored issues of trust in peer networks. Your contacts in Rypple form a social network, and with any social network issues of reputation and trust arise.

Stay tuned for future posts on these topics and more!
