Introducing our new Community Manager

Hello!

Thanks for reading. My name is Laura Gluhanich and I’m the new community manager ‘round these parts. I’m originally from Michigan, but have spent the past couple years in San Francisco, working on community and support at Ning. I’m a fan of live music, wine and naps. You can find me out and about on the internet and reach me here at lgluhanich@rypple.com.

I’m thrilled to be joining the team here – they’re friendly, smart and passionate. Working for a company that helps teams recognize one another and provide ongoing feedback is awesome. It’s something I strongly believe could help any organization. And it’s evident from the work everyone does here that they agree.

My aim at Rypple is to connect our most passionate users with one another, to talk about feedback and coaching, tips and best practices and really, anything else. I’d love to help create a place people can share their success stories and lessons learned around managing a team or navigating a career path. Additionally, I hope to bring you all together at some real life events and meet-ups, where we can all tell our best stories!

For now, I’m focused on adding to our content at http://love.rypple.com .  I welcome anyone reading here to check out what we have so far, add your feedback or respond to open questions there.

With that said, I’d like to open up comments here for community requests – where would you want to talk shop with fellow users? Which online communities do you love? What sort of features do you think are required for the Rypple community?
