Infographic: The Feedback Gap
65% of people want more feedback and 58% of managers think they give enough. What gives? Is this a sign that employees are “needy” or that managers believe other stuff is more important? The feedback gap is biggest among younger managers at smaller companies. Are they more in tune with their teams or missing a big opportunity to engage their teams more? Based on recent studies, there’s a clear, positive relationship between feedback and employee engagement, so perhaps the solution is for managers and employees to speak more often and get on the same page.
