74% of Workers Ready to Change Jobs

According to TLNT, 74% of workers are secretly plotting their next career move.

There are many reasons behind the overwhelming dissatisfaction of our workforce, including:

  • feeling undervalued or underpaid
  • lack of opportunities for advancement
  • poor company culture
  • lack of recognition

The study also found that workers today don’t feel the same sense of loyalty to their employer. In the past, most workers were committed to one company and one path. Now, we are all “free agents” with our own identity and agenda that we carry with us wherever we go.

Organizations who want to retain great people need to focus on creating a great company culture. The winners in the talent war will be able to keep their employees motivated and excited, so they don’t become part of the 20% that are disengaged at work.
