Get the most out of work with social performance management...

Congrats LinkedIn: 100 million members!

Last week, LinkedIn celebrated a major accomplishment: 100 million members worldwide.  Each of their members has a unique story - from finding a job, to recruiting talent, to sourcing new deals, and even starting a business. In celebration, Linkedin has featured profiles of several of its members – and we’re really excited to be a part of this milestone, with our own Jesse Goldman featured in row 6.

As a charter member of Linkedin’s company pages launched earlier this year, we’ve seen great results and engagement with the Linkedin community, including:

  • Major increases in traffic to our page
  • More than 3x increase in followers
  • Over 100 awesome recommendations
  • An opportunity to increase engagement and build relationships with excellent people

We’ve had such a great experience that our Rypple company page was even featured on their blog, where we discussed how our activity on Linkedin has helped our business with:

  • Feedback: Our company page, has over 100 awesome recommendations
  • Learning: We regularly use Linkedin polls to learn. In these polls we learned from members that most people think bad thoughts about performance reviews and that people want more feedback at work.
  • Communication: Our favorite LinkedIn discussions are: “Manager Coaching Skills“, “Great Leadership talks”, “Agile people manifesto” and “Transformational Leadership”.
  • Relationships: We meet great people on linkedin – it’s a great way to connect to build relationships with Rypple users, thought leaders, potential employees and others interested in our space.

Since Rypple is all about feedback and communication, its no surprise that we find it really valuable to connect with users, poll members and join group discussions. As you can tell, we’re big fans of Linkedin and are confident this milestone is only one of many major successes in store for them.

Congrats Linkedin!
