Boosting the Performance of Performance Reviews

From The Globe and Mail: Getting Satisfaction from Performance Management

As it’s name would suggest, the San Francisco technology company Get Satisfaction is all about helping its customers get the most out of the online communities it manages. But the company found the performance review process less than… satisfying, office manager Colleen McGarry tells The Globe and Mail’s Iain Marlow.

“No one ever wants to do it. Nobody ever wants to talk about it. The language is so sterile, so stuffy… We have a lot of younger to mid-level employees who are really looking to grow and are motivated and intelligent and curious, and just need to figure out how. We’re hoping Rypple will help spell that out.”

You can read more about how Rypple is helping Get Satisfaction and other companies get more out of their performance process here — in today’s Globe and Mail.
