Leave it to Rypple to inject a jolt of fun and excitement to last week’s HR Technology Conference and Expo in Las Vegas.

When Rypple headed to HR Tech, we wanted to shake the perception that Human Resources has to be boring and bureaucratic. So we hired a choreographer and a team of dancers to stage a flash mob at HR Tech.

Following the opening keynote address, as conference attendees made their way to the expo hall at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, our team of dancers surprised them with an upbeat, energetic dance routine to Aretha Franklin’s iconic rendition of THINK (Freedom). The place was buzzing. Who was this mystery flash mob?

This wasn’t about branding. The dancers were dressed in bright, teal colored t-shirts, and there wasn’t a Rypple logo in sight. Instead, it was all about reminding those in attendance that work can (and should) be fun.
